Graphical performance related issues such as sudden frame drops, stuttering, or other stuff. Update GPU’s drivers. Check with GeForce NVidia and AMD official websites for up to date graphic drivers.

  • New DirectX 11 multi-GPU profile. In order to enable Crossfire, type “-RenderDeviceAmdCrossfireEnable 1” as a command line argument.
  • Fixes texture flickering issue

Ryder getting stuck during cinematics

  • Try and switch between character’s combat or exploration mode.
  • Jumping might also get Ryder unstuck.
  • Restart the game.

Issues happen on HDR-compatible GPU

  • Updating to new Mass Effect: Andromeda Game Ready Driver
  • Go to GPU’s control panel and disable the function.
  • Pressing ALT+TAB may solved the problem.

Unable to launch

  • Go to antivirus firewall section and allow the ActivationUI executable to go through the firewall.

Black Screen-related issues

  • Can usually be solved by switching the game in borderless mode by pressing ALT + ENTER.
  • If problem persists, try to run the game by means of the Mass Effect Andromeda Trial exe.

NVIDIA announced new version of flagship Pascal architecture graphics card officially dubbed “NVIDIA TITAN Xp”, GPU delivering  12 teraflops (Tflops) of performance, makes use of all 30 of the chip’s streaming multiprocessors (SMs). Titan Xp also runs more parallel-processing CUDA cores and has more memory bandwidth. It’s made using Taiwan Semiconductor’s (TSM) 16-nanometer manufacturing process.
