Adobe released security update for Adobe Photoshop CS5 and Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 for Windows and Mac OS to address vulnerabilities stated in APSB12-11 that could allow an attacker who successfully exploits these vulnerabilities to take control of the affected system. For an attacker to exploit these vulnerabilities, a user must open a malicious TIF or DAE file inPhotoshop CS5.1, Photoshop CS5, and earlier. Adobe is not aware of any attacks exploiting these vulnerabilities.

The 12.0.5 and 12.1.1 updates address only this security vulnerability. This issue does not exist in Photoshop CS6.
