Google recently released new weather search results widget, which more user-friendly. Just open browser on on your iPhone or Android-powered device, go to google.com and search for ‘weather’, there you got Google weather widget shows current weather conditions and forsee future weather condition using slider.

Quote from the Google Mobile Blog:

“We’d been wanting to build a fun, useful, app-like way to display weather information on our search results pages in the mobile browser. So we pulled together a user experience designer and team of engineers and built a new weather search results snippet that lets you actually play with the results.”

Actually this widget just pings your location, grabs the information and parses it into a well formated widget form. The slider shows the next 12 hours, and then another four days below.

When you move the slider over to show the next 12 hours, you can see a detailed hour-by-hour breakdown of the changing weather conditions such as humidity, temperature, wind speed and how they’re expected to change throughout the day. Background color changes throughout the day to reflect these changes. Scroll down and you can see all the normal search results.

Currently Google weather search only available in English, but there will be more updates for other languages in the future.
