2018 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Wagon Revealed


Porsche unveils 2018 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Wagon, second-generation Panamera line-up with new four-plus-one seating layout, five-door, large electronically operated tailgate, significantly lower loading lip and added 20-litres of luggage capacity behind rear seats, ahead of official global debut at 87th Geneva International Motor Show on March 7.


Porsche will offer four different Sport Turismo models: 330-hp Panamera 4, 440-hp 4S, Turbo model with 550 horsepower and 462-hp Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo. Panamera Turbo sprints to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds with launch control.

Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo feature with three rear seats. Two outside seats are individual seats, results in 2+1 configuration in the rear. In order for easier entry and exit at the rear, raised roof line of Sport Turismo ensures greater head clearance. Backrests of the three rear seats can be folded down together or individually in a 40:20:40 split to increase cargo room.

The rear part of roof extends at 105 mph or 56 mph in Sport or Sport Plus modes to aid high-speed stability. This spoiler generates maximum of 110 lbs of downforce on the rear axle. When the panoramic sunroof is open, the spoiler extends to 26-degrees of attack, to help reduce wind noise.

Panamera 4 Sport Turismo powered by 243kW/450Nm 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6, while Panamera 4S Sport Turismo bumps the outputs from the same engine up to 324kW and 550Nm.

Panamera 4S Diesel Sport Turismo powered by 4.0-litre twin-turbo diesel V8 developing 310kW of power and 850Nm of torque.

Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo utilises 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with outputs of 404kW and 770Nm.

Panamera 4 E-Hybrid powered by plug-in hybrid drivetrain pairing 243kW/450Nm twin-turbo V6 from the Panamera 4 with a 100kW/400Nm electric motor – making for combined outputs of 340kW and 700Nm.

2018 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo will come to U.S. market in the fall, priced at $97,250 for the standard Panamera 4, $110,250 for the 4S, and $155,050 for the Turbo; the E-Hybrid model will be priced at $105,050. European market launch scheduled for Oct., with other markets following in early Nov.
